Oops! Typo in last blog

Just wanted to let you guys know that Kaylee did not cry (sorry, typo in last blog) when she met Santa and was pretty enthralled with his long white beard! She was such a good girl! Every year it will be more fun to watch Kaylee take her pic with Santa and watch how she grows!

Pics with Santa

Kaylee took her first pics with Santa and did pretty good for it being her first time! She did cry and was lucky enough to take a pic with her cousin Aiden. Unfortunately, her other cousin, Emily was too scared to join in the pic, but Kaylee was very happy that her other cousin got to be in the pic with her!

Kaylee's Pics with Grandpa Will's Family

Well, today Kaylee got to be in her first family photo on her Grandpa Will's side of the family. She had fun and passed out by the time all of the pictures were done. Her daddy did a great job at being the photographer. Who needs a professional photographer when she has her daddy as one!

Kaylee's first Christmas Party with the gang!

Kaylee had so much fun at our annual friend's ornament exchange/potluck at Auntie Nana's house. She got to play with two of her favorite girlfriends, Makenna and Clarissa! Thanks Nana for hosting and we cannot wait until next year's Christmas Party!

Thanksgiving Potluck with Friends

Kaylee was unfortunately sick for her first Annual Thanksgiving Potluck with our friends. She caught a cold the night before and was just not herself the night of the potluck. Though it was fun to see everyone and Kaylee's friends, Ryder, Clarissa, and even Sadie and Shelby (in the oven) came with their mommys and daddys too!

Teething and Feeding

Kaylee has two bottom teeth now! She loves to put everything in her mouth and is doing well with new foods. Her new foods that she has tried include bananas, avocado, butternut squash, yams, peas, carrots, green beans, apples,... She is doing well tolerating new tastes but still makes some pretty hilarious faces when trying each new food.

Kaylee turns 6 months!

Kaylee turned six months on November 1st. We cannot believe how fast she is growing. We celebrated by taking her to mommy and daddy's favorite chinese restaurant in Ventura. She had a blast and felt like a big girl sitting in her highchair at the restaurant. Mommy also made brownies which she was not able to eat yet, but she enjoyed trying to pull the pan off the table and had a little bit of help from daddy to blow out her candle.

Kaylee's First Halloween

Kaylee had a blast on her first Halloween. She was lucky enough to go trick or treating with her cousins, Aiden, Emily, and Courtney in Montrose. While trick or treating she ran into her best friend, Clarissa and her parents. They were all soooo cute! Everyone loved Kaylee's outfit. She was a flower which was perfect since she was born on May Day!

Underwood Family Farms

Kaylee has been having so much fun this October with all of the Halloween activities! She was so excited to go to the Underwood Family Farms with her friends, Ryder and Clarissa and their mommies and Ryder's Grandma Sandy! She got to feed a donkey, ride her first hay ride, and find her way through her first corn maze!

Kaylee was lucky enough to join her friends, Ryder and Clarissa at their mommy and me group for a Halloween party! She loved it and especially seeing all of her friends dressed up so cute! She had so much fun that she passed out by the end of the party in her auntie's arms.

Auntie Lori's Birthday

Kaylee had soooo much fun at Aunt Lori's Birthday dinner. Happy Birthday Tia! She was quite a handful too! We all took turns holding her and she especially loved helping her auntie open her gifts! She cannot wait until Christmas time when she gets to open her own gifts! Kaylee especially loves the tissue paper that gifts come wrapped in.

Kaylee's First Visit to the Apple Orchard in Yucaipa

Kaylee got to go to Yucaipa for her first visit to the apple orchards with Mommy, Grandma Mary, and Aunt Deanna. She had a blast! She got to see all of the neat things that they can do with apples such as make apple pie, apple cider, apple butter, and best of all caramel apples! Yummy! She cannot wait until next year when hopefully Daddy and Mommy will take her to pick her own apples!

Kaylee's Horn and Toes

Well, Kaylee has a new favorite toy. Her mommy went to an OT conference over the weekend and came back with this funny sounding horn! She loves it and giggles when you blow it. As you can see she is trying to figure out how it works so that she can make the funny noise too. Also, Kaylee has really been enjoying her toes lately! Her Great Grandma Nancy will be proud- Hope you like the pic Grammy!
Kaylee also wanted to tell her WT-Grandma that she loves her First Halloween Bib! Thank you WTM aka WTG!

Kaylee's First Feeding with Almost Real Food

Kaylee ate her first big girl meal! She did pretty good and as you can see was really interested in the spoon. Being that it was only breastmilk mixed with rice cereal we cannot call it truly the real thing yet, but she is looking forward to trying new big girl food's like avocados, squash, and more!!

Kaylee's First Train Ride to the Pumpkin Patch!

Kaylee got to go on her first train ride with Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa Will and Grandma Mary! We took the Pumpkin Liner in Fillmore to a pumpkin patch about 40 minutes away by train. Kaylee was all ready to go in her pumpkin outfit. She was the cutest pumpkin there and everyone kept commenting how they wanted to take her home as their pumpkin! They also wanted to know how much she cost and we told them she was PRICELESS! She was so adorable sitting with all of the other pumpkins in the patch and as you can see we got some pretty cute pics. We had a lot of fun and she cannot wait to take many more train rides. Maybe she will be lucky enough for her Mommy and Daddy to take her on the North Pole Express during Christmas time!
