Brave Little Girl!
Kaylee is sooooo brave. She got blood taken for the first time the other day and she DID NOT EVEN CRY! The doctor is not concerned, but says due to Kaylee's small size, she just wants to make sure there are no other reasons than genetics that she is small. So just to make sure Kaylee had to have blood drawn and a urine sample taken. We are sure she is ok and healthy and is just going to be a petite little girl!
Congrats to Auntie Lori and Uncle Dan!
L.A. County Fair Here We Come!
Well, Kaylee has already got to go to the Ventura County Fair the first year of her life, now this year she got to go to the L.A. County Fair! Pretty fun, I tell ya! There was chocolate covered bacon, hot tubs for sale and lots of farm animals. Kaylee really enjoyed the petting zoo where she got to help feed and pet the sheep. She ate yammys (yam fries) and shaved ice. The best part is that her girl friends, Sadie, Shelby, and Clarissa came too! Hopefully, next time her Dada can come because she missed him while he was at work.
My First Tent Camping Experience!
We went to El Capitan SB with the family and Kaylee got to sleep in a tent for the very first time! She had a lot of fun watching the doggies fetch a stick in the ocean, BBQing, playing with her cuz, Joe, crawling around in the dirt, and digging a hole in the sand at the beach! It was a fun time filled with many memories. We can't wait to go again next year since this has now become a family tradition to go camping once a year with the extended fam!
Fun at School!
Kaylee goes to a lot of different mommy and me classes with her her mommy through First 5, but this year she also started a mommy and me pre-school class through Simi Valley Adult School. She loves it! They have outdoor playtime, indoor playtime, snack time and circle time with music. She looks forward to class every week. She enjoys playing with her friends, learning, and especially snack time! This specific class also takes field trips one of which is going to be at the Underwood Family Farms in October! She can't wait because she heard that they get to pick a pumpkin and take a hay ride on a tractor. She actually went last year with her friends, Ryder and Clarissa! It will be even more fun now that she is older. Hopefully we can keep it a tradition and go every year during the Fall.
Water play with my Cuz!
Nothing is more fun than playing in the sprinkler on a hot summer day! Kaylee got to play in the sprinkler for the very first time with her cuz, Reagan at her Grandpa Will and Grandma Mary's house! She was a little apprehensive at first, but realized soon after how much fun playing with water on the grass can be!
